Cole-Parmer Stuart Aquatron Water Still, 4 LPH, Double Distilled; 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz
The Aquatron cabinet-style water stills are available in single or double distilled water models. The double distilled model features higher purity levels. The stills are made of borosilicate glassware coupled with silica-sheathed heaters and then enclosed in a protective cabinet, delivering pyrogen-free distillate of the highest purity from virtually any raw water supply. Its condenser is designed to make sure droplets of distilled water remain in contact with the cooling coil for an extended period, ensuring maximum energy transfer and production of cold distilled water for immediate use. The all-glass construction allows for rapid descaling using strong mineral acids. The units can be safely and easily cleaned without dismantling the glassware. Also, a large bore stopcock with PTFE key is fitted for easy draining of chemicals, after cleaning. Its safety features include a flow sensor, overtemperature thermostat and acrylic screen, along with a cabinet lid and more.

10mL Mini-Lab™ short path distillation apparatus. Sold complete with distillation flask, gas inlet tube adapter, 14/20 still body, cow receiver, and (3) 5mL pear-shaped receiving flasks. Apparatus is designed for small quantities where holdup between flask and receiver must be minimized but where it is also desired to measure vapor temperature with an accuracy compared to large set-ups. Apparatus has improved thermometer sensitivity. Physical carry-over is practically eliminated by impingement. Condenser delivery tube is straight through. Condensate drops directly into one of the four receivers attached to cow. Upper hose connections are for water lines, lower connection is for vacuum/vent. Apparatus has a 10/30 thermometer joint, and all other joints are 14/20.
