The BenchWaver™ combines the basic rocking motion of traditional platform rockers with the circular motion of an orbital shaker. This combination is ideal for generating the optimum 3-dimensional "undulating" motion commonly preferred for molecular biology applications. The tilt angle is instantly adjustable (no tools or disassembly required) from 0 to 10° and the mixing speed can be adjusted from 5 to 105 rpm, using the large, user-friendly LCD control panel. Combined control of both parameters (tilt and speed) makes the BenchWaver a versatile workhorse that can provide anything from gentle, slow moving waves to a rapid, more vigorous motion. Additionally, time of operation can be selected from 1 minute up to 99 hours or for continuous operation. The large 13.5 x 13 inch platform is supplied complete with a non-slip, rubber mat. Benchrocker With adjustable speeds and tilt angles, user can set both parameters to match vessel size and volume of liquid being mixed. User can adjust both parameters to match vessel size and volume of liquid being mixed, yielding optimum results. Rocking speed and tilt angle are both easily adjustable in seconds. At low speeds and minimal tilt angles, both models (2D for "see-saw" motion or 3D for "gyratory" motion) provide a gentle wave effect for non-foaming mixing, as is required for most blot washing and gel work. When set to higher speeds and more extreme tilt angles, they produce aggressive agitation for vigorous sample mixing. Dual platform option expands workspace. BenchRocker 2D and 3D can accept stackable platforms (2.75" clearance). All platform mats are autoclavable.
