Stirrer Bearing, Universal, 24/40, 10mm, Ball Bearing. Universal Chem-Vac™ PTFE stirrer bearing provides a VACUUM TIGHT FLAKE-FREE SEAL on GLASS, PTFE or S.S. stir shafts. Upper portion of bearing rotates with the stirrer shaft providing a flake-free seal. The bearing consists of a PTFE standard taper body, Glass filled polypropylene screw cap, PEEK/PTFE sleeve and a glass filled polypropylene loosening nut and a specially designed glass ball-bearing for rigidity and smoothness of operation. The polymer blend sleeve provides a long lasting seal for use up to 500 RPM. Loosening nut above the standard taper inner joint allows easy and quick removal. Bearing is 45mm OD at its widest point.

The design allows you to have the flexibility of vertical adjustment and still choose your agitator diameter and style. Bearing has a ferrule and locking nut to ensure that the seal rotates properly, and is supplied complete with a gold plated wrench. Lower joint adapters are supplied complete with perfluorinated o-rings and a loosening nut.
