The base of each stand exerts a powerful magnetic force that holds it solidly on ferrous metal surfaces - even vertically or upside down
This is the same magnetic base and support arm as M1, but it is equipped with a longer (14-inch) vertical post. These are an ideal manipulator stands.
Optional M5 10 mm clamp should be added for use with M3301, DC3001, MD4 and MMJ manipulators.

Grainger Rod Stock Brass 5/32 in x 3 ft PK5
The 260 Brass Rod is a 5/32 inch diameter rod made of 260 brass alloy. It has excellent machinability and can be used for shafts, bearings, bushings and other precision parts. The rod has a smooth finish and tight tolerances. It is available in 12 foot lengths and can be cut to size. The 260 brass alloy contains 70% copper and 30% zinc, which gives it good corrosion resistance. This brass rod product is made in the USA by Grainger, a leading industrial supplier. It meets ASTM B16 standards for brass rod.

The Stainless Steel Rod 303 is a 3/16" diameter, 36" long rod made of 303 stainless steel with a smooth surface finish. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and can withstand temperatures up to 1600°F. Meeting ASTM A276 specifications, it has a tensile strength of 85,000 psi. Commonly used for shafts, fixtures, pins, and linkages, it provides good machinability and weldability. The rod comes with a mill certificate verifying its chemistry and physical properties and is available in full 36" lengths.
