This rigid-lever force transducer transforms applied force into proportional voltage. Using balanced strain gauges, FORT transducers produce linear output voltage vs. applied force input with very little deflection. To use, clamp the handle of the FORT transducer in a horizontal position and apply the forces to be measured to a rivet or hook mounted in the hole at the end of the flat sensing leaf.
The transducer is highly resistant to mechanical damage. Its body is machined from aluminum and mounts to a standard ring stand or, with the handle removed, clamp mounts.
This transmitter offers the benefits of polysilicon thin film performance at affordable prices. Using chemical vapor deposition methods polysilicon strain gauges are molecularly bonded to a metal diaphragm. This sensor, combined with the latest surface mount electronics promote superior performance in a durable package.
Designed for the measurement and control of very low pressure and flow in industrial and process plant environments. The transmitter features s rugged NEMA4X enclosure, built-in electrical terminal box isolated from the electronics and threaded process connections.
