The Model 160 is ideal for damage free polishing of semiconductor materials with harsh chemicals and has been used extensively for polishing GaAs with bromine-methanol solutions. The Model 160 is made of "PTFE" and is designed to hold crystal wafers pt o 2 1/8" diameter while they are being polished with very corrosive chemicals. The sample is held in place by vacuum and the sample is polished by rubbing the exposed sample against a suitable polishing cloth soaked with the chemical solution.

CMF1 mounting fixture is a small round plate with integral rod for mounting one upwards and/or one downwards facing instrument without a ventilation unit. For CMP3, SMP3, CMP6, SMP6, CMP10, SMP10, CMP11, SMP11, CMP21, SMP21, CMP22 and SMP22 pyranometers, CGR3, SGR3, CGR4, SGR4 pyrgeometers and CUV5 and SUV5 broadband UV radiometer. CMF1 has a 88 mm diameter plate with a non-removable mounting rod of 16 mm diameter and 350 mm long. The CMB1 mounting bracket can be used to attach the CMF1 to poles, masts or walls.

The Model 195 MultiLap is a high specimen throughput polishing tool that that grinds and polish multiple specimens with precise control. up to 1" diameter and polished in 10-micron increments. Up to 6 separate pistons are used for holding specimen and controlling amount of material to be removed. Specimen mounts facilitate viewing in transmitted light, enhancing detection of features that require a light transparent specimen. Wear resistant Delrin plastic legs provide support and are gentle on abrasive films and media.
Tungsten carbide base resists wear and maintains sample planarity. Wide base ensures stability.
Wear ring is replaceable on some fixtures, extending the life.
Can be mounted in the Model 920 Lapping & Polishing Machine for semi-automatic processing.
