The FlowTubes for FACS are made of crystal clear virgin polystyrene, these 12x75mm FACS tubes are designed for most Flourescence Activated Cell Sorting/flow cytometry equipment, including FACS systems from 8D Biosciences. The diameter and wall thickness of the tube's neck are held to a tight tolerances to ensure consistent compatibility with automated instrumentation. They are available with the standard two-position culture cap, as well as with a cap that contains a 35µm nylon mesh screen, designed to assist in cell sorting/straining applications. These tubes and mesh caps are primarily used to collect dissociated sample for subsequent processing in automated flow cytometry instruments.
