The Bio SB TintoRetriever Slide Thermometers are intended as a quality control tool to evaluate the temperature of Retrieval solutions, such as the Bio SB ImmunoDNA Retriever Citrate (BSB 0020 – BSB 0023) and EDTA (BSB 0030 – BSB 0033), used in cell or tissue thermal permeabilization procedures for Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Chromogenic in Situ Hybridization (CISH), Fluorogenic in situ Hybridization (FISH) or in situ PCR. The dryer is designed to rapidly dry slides by blowing warm air over the surface of the slides. The slide dryer accommodates two slide racks directly from a stainer and allows the slides to be stained in approximately 20-30 minutes. A temperature control dial allows the user to set the temperature from ambient to 75 degree C. The hinged lid is made from durable stainless steel. A zinc coated steel casing with a stoved epoxy finish. The glass front allows for see-through viewing.

The ligand angiopoietin-1 binds to this receptor and mediates a signaling pathway that functions in embryonic vascular development. Mutations in this gene are associated with inherited venous malformations of the skin and mucous membranes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Additional alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but their full-length nature is not known.
