EMS Embedding Mold is a new mold designed with Michael J. Dykstra Ph.D. from North Carolina State University Department of Veterinary Medicine. This Mold produces blocks of the best dimension to be held securely by Reichert/Leica Ultracut stepped microtome chucks. There are 24 cavities and the depth of each cavity is 4 mm which will prevent breakage of the blocks during razor blade trimming. Mold Measurements: 3 3/8" x 3" (85 x 77 mm. Electron Microscopy Sciences T-Sue™ Precast Paraffin Block, 4 mm
Precast T-Sue Microarray paraffin blocks are used to construct a tissue array block in minutes by simply punching the donor tissue cores and inserting into a pre-made paraffin recipient block. It is an easy, convenient, and low cost method for constructing paraffin tissue microarrays. The blocks are made of paraffin and the cassettes are made of acetal. The cassette is permanently bonded to the block and has consistent core diameters. It is ready to accept cores from the donor block.
Kit includes 6 Precast T-Sue Paraffin blocks and two punch needles with stylet.

Made of silicone, these molds can withstand temperatures between -100 deg C to +250 deg C and be reused hundreds of times without losing their flexibility.
