Electron Microscopy Sciences Square Mesh Cassettes with Lids Packed Separate, Gray
Biopsy processing cassettes are similar to the slotted cassettes but have a 1 mm square mesh for small biopsies. Made from Acetyl Polymer, which is a special high density polymer that keeps specimens safely submerged in solution, these cassettes are totally resistant to most histological solvents and their slots offer maximum flow through for good fluid exchange and proper drainage.
The lids can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassette for your convenience.

Andwin Scientific TISSUE-TEK UNI-CASSETTE LILAC
The Tissue-Tek Uni-Cassette has a smooth, single action, fracture-back hinge that allows the cassette to fracture when closed, and then break smoothly with no difficulty. This product features a unique design of raised spacer nubs in order to keep the space between the cassettes for better exchange of processing reagents. The cassette also has a wider, thicker finger tab that not only lessens the strain on operators finger, but also makes the opening of the lid less complicated. It also features an oversize writing surface that permits easy organization and identification. This product is sold in the color of lilac.

These holders are used to hold capsules upright during the resin embedding stage. The cavities (22) allow for illumination from the bottom of the holder for specimen orientation. Holds size "00", conical, and bottle neck capsules.

Natural, hard gelatin capsules. To be used as an embedding mold for water miscible resins, or resins which need to be cured by transmitted light. Gelatin capsules dissolve or disintegrate within 5 minutes when immersed in a 0.5% HCl solution at 36-38 degree C, within 2 minutes in water at 37 degree C or in artificial gastric juice.

The efficient flow-through slots maximize fluid exchange and insure proper drainage. The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. Large labeling areas are located on three sides of the cassette. The anterior writing area is at a 45 degree angle, making the cassette, to some degree, able to be used with certain types of cassette labeling instruments.
