Maxime PCR PreMix Kit (i-Taq™) contains all components necessary for a PCR reaction in one tube in a dried, stable format. PCR can be carried out immediately with the addition of the template, primer and distilled water, reducing the risk of pipetting error. Gel loading electrophoresis is also possible as the tubes contain loading dye. This kit features Intron’s i-Taq™ DNA Polymerase, a highly purified (anion exchange) polymerase of 94 kDa. The buffer composition has been optimized to obtain the best polymerase activity regardless of the template type or reaction conditions. This kit has excellent stability due to oxidation and moisture prevention achieved by a vacuum compression manufacturing method. Each tube contains i-Taq™ DNA Polymerase (5U/ul), dNTPs, reaction buffer (10x), and gel loading buffer.

SD Polymerase is a novel, artificial polymerase with a strong strand displacement activity and heat stability up to 93°C. With SD Polymerase, the possibilities of isothermal amplification and regular PCR can be combined. The high heat stability of SD Polymerase enhances the efficiency of isothermal amplification by initial denaturation steps to increase the accessibility of single strands. The initial heating-up improves the specificity in applications such as LAMP, library generation, PCDR, WGA, standard PCR, and genome sequencing. The special properties of SD Polymerase provide greater yields, speed and efficiency than Taq Polymerase. SD Polymerase is suitable for high GC-content and difficult targets. Long Range PCR can be performed with target sizes up to 30 kb. SD Polymerase has 5’-3’ polymerase and 5’-3’ strand displacement activities, as well as 3’-A-overhangs. It does not have any exonuclease activity.

The Q5 Quick-Load High-Fidelity 2X Master Mix offers high-fidelity performance in a convenient master mix format. The master mix features Q5, a high-fidelity, thermostable DNA polymerase with 3' to 5' exonuclease activity fused to a processivity-enhancing Sso7d domain. With an error rate ~280-fold lower than that of Taq DNA Polymerase, Q5 offers highly accurate amplification and can be used to amplify difficult or long targets (up to 20 kb for simple templates). The master mix includes polymerase, dNTPs, Mg++, and an inert green tracking dye for easy and direct loading of PCR products onto gels. The broad-use buffer requires only the addition of primers and DNA template for robust amplification, regardless of GC content.
