The Luna Probe One-Step RT-qPCR Mix with UDG (No ROX) is supplied at a 4X concentration and enables higher amounts of sample input which is relevant for applications where RNA present in low abundance is of interest such as pathogen detection. The mix consolidates the components for one-step RT-qPCR into a single tube including Luna WarmStart RT Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase dNTPs and Murine RNase Inhibitor in an optimized buffer. Combining Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase with a novel WarmStart-activated reverse transcriptase allows for dual control of enzyme activity via reversible aptamer-based inhibition. This temperature-dependent activation helps to prevent undesirable non-specific priming and extension prior to thermocycling providing added security for setting up reactions at room temperature. This formulation contains no reference dye and is compatible with any instrument that does not require ROX (if ROX normalization is needed ROX can be added.)

The WarmStart Multi-Purpose LAMP/RT-LAMP 2X Master Mix (with UDG) is designed to provide a simple one-step solution for Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) of DNA or RNA (RT-LAMP) targets. LAMP and RT-LAMP are commonly used isothermal amplification techniques that provide rapid detection of a target nucleic acid using LAMP-specific primers (supplied by the user) and a strand-displacing DNA polymerase. This mix contains a blend of Bst 2.0 WarmStart DNA Polymerase and WarmStart RTx Reverse Transcriptase in an optimized buffer solution. The inclusion of thermolabile UDG prevents carryover contamination where unintended product of a previous amplification can serve as the substrate of a subsequent reaction. The WarmStart Multi-Purpose LAMP/RT-LAMP 2X Master Mix (with UDG) is compatible with multiple detection methods including turbidity detection real-time fluorescence detection and end-point visualization.

FIREPol is a highly processive, thermostable DNA Polymerase. Due to its genetic modifications, it has enhanced stability at room temperature with no activity loss for up to 1 month. Recommended for routine applications (fragment up to 3 kb from genomic DNA). Possesses 5′→3′ polymerase and 5′→3′ exonuclease activity, as well as a non-template-dependent terminal transferase activity, but lacks a 3′→5′ exonuclease (proofreading) activity making the generated product suitable for TA-cloning. The fidelity of FIREPol is similar to a regular Taq DNA Polymerase (error rate per nucleotide ca 2.5 x10-5).
