AS ONE Taq DNA Polymerase with red dye is a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase, which exhibits very high activity in primer extension and other molecular biology applications. Taq contains a red dye which provides easy and quick identification of reactions to which enzyme was added and allows confirmation of complete mixing. The inert dye has no effect on downstream processes. Taq with Red Dye is added directly to the reaction mix and is used in the same manner as standard Taq DNA Polymerase. AS ONE Taq DNA Polymerase with red dye has both a 5' to 3' DNA polymerase and a 5' to 3' exonuclease activity. The enzyme lacks a 3' to 5' exonuclease activity. Taq DNA Polymerase leaves an A prime overhang, which makes the enzyme ideal for TA cloning. Red Taq Polymerase includes 10x Standard Buffer.

A passive reference dye to compensate for non-PCR related variations in the fluorescence. The fluorescence from the passive reference dye does not change during the course of the PCR reaction but provides a stable baseline to which samples are normalized. The excitation and emission of the reference dye are 584 nm and 612 nm, respectively.

Bst 3.0 DNA Polymerase is an in silico designed homologue of Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA Polymerase I, Large Fragment engineered for improved isothermal amplification performance and increased reverse transcription activity. Bst 3.0 DNA Polymerase contains 5' to 3' DNA polymerase activity with either DNA or RNA templates and strong strand displacement activity, but lacks 5' to 3' and 3' to 5' exonuclease activity. Bst 3.0 DNA Polymerase demonstrates robust performance even in high concentrations of amplification inhibitors and features significantly increased reverse transcriptase activity compared to Bst DNA Polymerase.

ROX reference dye is used to normalize well-to-well variations that may occur during quantitative, real-time PCR reactions. The dye is supplied as a 25 uM solution in 10 mM Tris-HCL (pH 8.6), 0.1 mM EDTA, and 0.01% Tween-20.

Fast-Plus EvaGreen Master Mix is a ready-to-use hot-start mix for nucleic acid quantitation and melt analysis of PCR amplicons. It delivers clean PCR product even with the most challenging samples tested. The mix contains environmentally safe EvaGreen dye and fast-activating chemically-modified hotstart enzyme, Cheetah™ Taq. Although the master mix is formulated for qPCR using a fast cycling protocol, it is also compatible with qPCR using a regular cycling protocol. Low ROX reference dye is included in the mix for well-to-well fluorescence normalization in ABI and other instrument platforms. This product has sufficient reagent for 5000 reactions.
Biotium PMA Enhancer for Gram Negative Bacteria, 5X Solution
PMA Enhancer for Gram Negative Bacteria was designed to improve PMA- and PMAxx™-mediated discrimination between live and dead gram-negative bacteria. PMA Enhancer is provided as a 5X solution, and is added to a sample before the addition of dye. When a sequence from a gram-negative bacteria is amplified by PCR, samples pre-treated with Enhancer show a decrease in the signal from dead cells, with no change in the signal from live cells. Thus, PMA or PMAxx™ plus Enhancer is the optimal way to perform viability PCR on gram-negative bacteria. The mechanism by which Enhancer improves live/dead discrimination has not been determined. It may improve passive permeability of dead cell walls or membranes to the dye, and/or improve access of the dye to the dead cell DNA. The product comes with 16 ml of 5X PMA Enhancer for Gram Negative Bacteria solution.
