These MatTek PermaCell cell culture inserts have a polycarbonate (PC) membrane with a pore size of 0.4 µm and are used in a 24-well plate for cell attachment, cell culture, cell differentiation, drug transport, and permeability studies. MatTek PermaCell Inserts are advanced cell culture devices that are sterile and used for growth and differentiation of cells. MatTek PermaCell Inserts are single-use individual 8mm inserts that can be used in 6-, 12-, and 24-well culture plate formats. The inserts are uniquely functional as either standing or hanging inserts, allowing researchers increased flexibility when designing studies. Various membrane types allow researchers to select inserts for specific needs, such as cell attachment, culture, differentiation, drug transport/permeability, and imaging studies.These 8 mm inserts come packaged, pre-inserted, in a 24-well plate.
