Biotium Cytokeratin 10 (KRT10) (Suprabasal Epithelial Marker) (rKRT10/844), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This MAb recognizes a protein of 56.5 kDa, identified as cytokeratin 10 (CK10). CK10 is expressed in all suprabasal layers of the epidermis. In the epidermis, expression of CK10 strictly parallels the extent of differentiation; it is absent in the basal layer, appears in the first suprabasal layers and increases in concentration towards the granular layer. However, CK10 is rarely detected in early stages of vulvar squamous carcinomas (tumors less than 2 cm, clinical stage I) regardless of the tumor grade. In larger and more advanced tumors (greater than 2 cm, clinical stages II and III), CK10 is detected very frequently. Expression of CK10 is related to maturation of malignant keratinocytes, being preferentially detected in more-differentiated parts.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M

Biotium MMP9 (Matrix Metalloproteinase 9)(MMP9/2477), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
The matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) are a family of peptidase enzymes responsible for the degradation of extracellular matrix components, including collagen, gelatin, fibronectin, laminin and proteoglycan. Transcription of MMP genes is differentially activated by phorbol ester, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB). MMP catalysis requires both calcium and zinc. MMP-9 (also designated 92 kDa type IV collagenase or gelatinase B) has been shown to degrade bone collagens in concert with MMP-1 (also designated interstitial collagenase, fibroblast collagenase or collagenase-1), and cysteine proteases and may play a role in bone osteoclastic resorption. MMP-1 is down-regulated by p53, and abnormality of p53 expression may contribute to joint degradation in rheumatoid arthritis by regulating MMP-1 expression. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photo

Biotium MAML3 (Mastermind Like Transcriptional Coactivator 3) (MAML3/1303), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
MAML3 (mastermind-like protein 3) is a nuclear speckle protein that acts as a transcriptional coactivator for Notch receptors. The Notch signaling pathway influences cell fate by regulating the ability of precursor cells to properly respond to developmental signals. MAML3 is a member of the mastermind-like family of proteins that are human homologs of the Drosophila melanogaster mastermind protein. Through its N-terminal region, MAML3 interacts with the ankyrin repeats of the Notch proteins Notch 1, Notch 2, Notch 3 and Notch 4.This interaction leads to formation of a DNA-binding complex with the Notch proteins and RBP-J, a complex that can then induce HES1 gene expression. While the N-terminal domain of MAML3 is essential for proper Notch binding, the C-terminal domain of MAML3 is essential for transcriptional activation. Due to its involvement in cell signaling and transcriptional activation, upregulation of MAML3 is thought to be involved in oncogenesis.Primary antibodies

Biotium Calpain 1(CAPN1/1530), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Calpain 1 is an intracellular calcium-dependent protease that cleaves cytoskeletal and sub-membranous proteins. Calpains are non-lysosomal, calcium-activated intracellular cysteine proteases. Calpains mediate specific Ca2 - dependent processes including cell fusion, mitosis and meiosis. Calpains are heterodimers of a small regulatory subunit and one of three large catalytic subunits, designated Calpain 1, Calpain 2 and Calpain p94. Calpastatin regulates Calpain by inhibiting both the proteolytic activity of Calpain and its binding to membranes. Calpastatin exists in two types, tissue type and erythrocyte type, resulting from both alternative splicing and proteolytic processing. Calpain 1 co-localizes with human leukocyte antigen-DR (HLA-DR) on activated microglia in the aging brain. Calpain influences the process of spermatogenesis and the events preceding fertilization, such as the acrosome reaction. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluoresce

Biotium GP2 (Glycoprotein 2) / ZAP75 (GP2/1551), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
GP2 (glycoprotein 2), also known as ZAP75, is a 537 amino acid secreted protein. It is an integral membrane protein that is secreted from intracellular zymogen granules and associates with the plasma membrane via glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) linkage. GP2 is cleaved and then released into the pancreatic duct along with exocrine secretions. GP2 binds pathogens such as enterobacteria, thereby playing an important role in the innate immune response. The C-terminus of this protein is related to the C-terminus of the protein encoded by the neighboring gene, uromodulin (UMOD). GP2 is also expressed on the apical plasma membrane of specialized microfold (M) cells among enterocytes and serves as a transcytotic receptor for mucosal antigens. M cells are considered a promising target for oral vaccination against various infectious diseases.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. Biotium Adipophilin / Perilipin-2 (Marker of Obesity) (ADFP/1493), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Perilipin-2, also known as Adipophilin, belongs to the perilipin family, members of which coat intracellular lipid storage droplets. This 48 kDa protein is associated with the lipid globule surface membrane material, and maybe involved in development and maintenance of adipose tissue. However, it is not restricted to adipocytes as previously thought, but is found in a wide range of cultured cell lines, including fibroblasts, endothelial and epithelial cells, and tissues, such as lactating mammary gland, adrenal cortex, Sertoli and Leydig cells, and hepatocytes in alcoholic liver cirrhosis, suggesting that it may serve as a marker of lipid accumulation in diverse cell types and diseases.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because

Biotium LMO2 (B-Cell Marker)(LMO2/1971), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
The LMO2 protein has a central and crucial role in hematopoietic development and is highly conserved. It has a particular function in normal and lymphatic endothelial cells involving the regulation of angiogenesis and lymph-angiogenesis. Immunohistochemical studies have also demonstrated expression of LMO2 in both normal germinal center B-cells and germinal center-derived B-cell lymphomas, including follicular lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The use of anti-LMO2 is valuable as a tool in the identification of lymphomas of B-cell origin. LMO2 is useful in differentiating follicular lymphoma (LMO2 ) from nodal marginal zone lymphoma (LM02-). It also is positive in Hodgkin's and Burkitt's lymphomas. Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Biotium Chromogranin A / CHGA (Neuroendocrine Marker) (rCHGA/413), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Chromogranin A is present in neuroendocrine cells throughout the body, including the neuroendocrine cells of the large and small intestine, adrenal medulla and pancreatic islets. It is an excellent marker for carcinoid tumors, pheochromocytomas, paragangliomas, and other neuroendocrine tumors. Co-expression of chromogranin A and neuron specific enolase (NSE) is common in neuroendocrine neoplasms. Reportedly, co-expression of certain keratins and chromogranin indicates neuroendocrine lineage. The presence of strong anti-chromogranin staining and absence of anti-keratin staining should raise the possibility of paraganglioma. The co-expression of chromogranin and NSE is typical of neuroendocrine neoplasms. Most pituitary adenomas and prolactinomas readily express chromogranin.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes

Biotium CELA3B / ELA3B (Pancreatic Function Marker)(CELA3B/1758), CF647 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This MAb recognizes a protein of ~30 kDa, identified as CELA3B (Chymotrypsin like elastase family member 3B). Elastases form a subfamily of serine proteases that hydrolyze many proteins in addition to elastin. Humans have six elastase genes which encode the structurally similar proteins elastase 1, 2, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B. Unlike other elastases, elastase 3B has little elastolytic activity. Like most of the human elastases, elastase 3B is secreted from the pancreas as a zymogen and, like other serine proteases such as trypsin, chymotrypsin and kallikrein; it has a digestive function in the intestine. Elastase 3B preferentially cleaves proteins after alanine residues. Elastase 3B may also function in the intestinal transport and metabolism of cholesterol. Both elastase 3A and elastase 3B have been referred to as protease E and as elastase 1, and excretion of this protein in fecal material is frequently used as a measure of pancreatic function.
