The KILR Retroparticles for Adherent Cells (Hygromycin B) are MMLV particles designed to transduce adherent cells. This allows production of ProLabel-tagged, hygromycin B-resistant target cells of interest for use in cytotoxicity assays involving detection of cell lysis. This product uses EFC technology. The retroparticles mix can be used to transduce target cells with a ProLabel-tagged housekeeping gene. Target cell death in a cytotoxicity assay will release ProLabel to the media, where EA contained in the detection reagent will produce EFC signal. These retroparticles ship as 4 vials of cryopreserved retroparticles. EGFP (enhanced green fluorescent protein) mRNA can express an enhanced green fluorescence once has been transfected into cells, which makes it always used as a direct detection reporter mRNA. You can observe the fluorescence at 509 nm. Our product had already been modified with ARCA with a high efficient co-transcriptional capping method, which means most of mRNA has a Cap 0 structure. It is a more mature mRNA than mRNA with no capping and maintain a more stable state which lead to higher expressing efficiency in transfected mammalian cells. ARCA obtain the ability only inserting in the proper orientation, results in forming mRNAs that can be translated twice efficiently as those initiated with mCAP. Other sizes are available.
