The EZ-96 DNA Methylation-Gold™ Kit is a refinement of our popular EZ DNA Methylation™ kits. These products consolidate DNA denaturation and bisulfite conversion processes into one step, leading to a much faster bisulfite conversion. This is accomplished using temperature denaturation instead of chemical denaturation which is used in the original EZ DNA Methylation™ Kit. Also, the EZ DNA Methylation™-Gold™ Kits have been streamlined for high yield recovery of DNA following bisulfite treatment. Recovered bisulfite-converted DNA is ideal for PCR amplification for downstream analyses including endonuclease digestion, sequencing, microarrays, etc.

The Zymoprep™-96 Yeast Plasmid Miniprep kit provides all the necessary reagents for high-throughput plasmid isolation from S. cerevisiae, C. albicans, S. pombe and any fungi whose cell walls are susceptible to yeast lytic enzyme lysis. The Zymoprep™-96 is a simple and efficient yeast plasmid miniprep kit that is based on the classic E. coli alkaline lysis method with our Zymolyase™ added in the first solution. There is no need for glass beads, or phenol.

The NEBNext Ultra II FS DNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina provides a fragmentation system: a fast and reliable solution for DNA fragmentation and library construction. A new DNA fragmentation reagent is combined with end repair and dA-tailing reagents, allowing these steps to be performed in the same tube, with no clean-ups or sample loss. The same fragmentation protocol is used for any input amount (100 pg–500 ng), or GC content. The kit also includes the NEBNext Ultra II Ligation Master Mix for adaptor ligation, the NEBNext Ultra II Q5 Master Mix for uniform, high-fidelity library amplification, and the gold standard SPRIselect size selection and clean-up beads. Innovative reagents and Zymo-Spin Technology allow for ultra-pure and concentrated genomic DNA (> 50 kb) to be eluted in as little as 10 l. Zymo-Spin Columns ensure no buffer retention. Purified DNA is RNA-free bypassing the need for RNase A treatment and ensuring accurate quantification for applications like library preparations. Norgen's Saliva DNA Collection and Preservation Devices are designed for 1) simple and non-invasive saliva collection and 2) preservation of DNA in saliva samples at ambient temperature. Each of the 50 Saliva DNA Collection and Preservation Devices consists of 3 components: (1) Saliva Collection Funnel and Collection Tube, (2) Collection Tube Cap, and (3) Norgen's Saliva DNA Preservative contained within a sealed squeezable ampoule. Saliva samples are collected by spitting inside the Collection Funnel which has been assembled with the Collection Tube. After collecting the required volume of saliva the Collection Funnel is removed and the contents of the Preservative Ampoule are then added and mixed with the collected saliva. The Saliva Collection Tube is subsequently sent to the laboratory for DNA isolation and analysis.

Norgen Biotek Corp Bacterial Genomic DNA Isolation Kit
This kit provides a convenient and rapid method to isolate total DNA from fresh, frozen and preserved stool samples, including those preserved using Norgen’s Stool Nucleic Acid Collection and Preservation Tubes (Cat. 45660). The universal protocol conveniently allows for the isolation of total genomic DNA from all the various microorganisms and host cells found in the stool sample simultaneously. The kit removes all traces of humic acids and other inhibitors using a combination of chemical and physical homogenization and lysis. A simple and rapid spin column procedure is then used to further purify the DNA with high yields and molecular weights of up to 50 kb plus. The purified DNA is of the highest quality and is fully compatible with all downstream applications such as PCR, qPCR, Sequencing and microarrays since all humic acid substances and other PCR inhibitors are removed during the isolation process.

Stool DNA Stabilizer, 180 ml. The DNA Stool Stabilizer is a liquid stabilization buffer to be used in conjunction with the Stool Collection Tube. The DNA Stabilizer inactivates DNases and prevents degradation of DNA, it preserves the microorganism titre and prelyses bacteria. The stabilized sample can be stored in the Stool Collection Tube for 3 months at room temperature. To extract DNA remove an aliquot, the residual sample can be stored for later extractions. For subsequent DNA extraction from stabilized stool samples we offer the PSP Spin Stool DNA Basic Kit.
