LAMDA BIOTECH INC Classic Genomic DNA Isolation Kit
The kit adopts a convenient, non-toxic method for isolating/purification of genomic DNA from various animal samples, including mouse tails and various other animal tissues or cultured cells. Pure, archive-grade genomic DNA with high molecular weight will be obtained. The purified DNA is ready for a variety of applications including multiplex PCR, restriction digestion, sequencing, Southern blot and hybridization. The kit is not only applicable for various tissues, but also flexible for experimental sample sizes. The typical purified genomic DNA will be over 100-200kb in size.

The Monarch HMW DNA Extraction Kit for Tissue provides a rapid and reliable process for extracting high molecular weight (HMW), intact genomic DNA from various tissues and bacteria, as well as other sample types including yeast, insect, and amphibian. Optimized extraction protocol for tissue utilizes pestle homogenization and proteinase K digestion with agitation for sample lysis, followed by a protein removal step and precipitation of the extracted DNA onto the surface of large glass beads. DNA size ranges from 50 to greater than or equal to 500 kb for standard protocols and into the Mb range when the lowest agitation speeds are used for processing soft organ tissues and bacteria. Purified DNA is recovered in high yield with excellent purity, including nearly complete removal of RNA. Purified HMW DNA is suitable for a variety of downstream applications including long-read sequencing

The Monarch HMW DNA Extraction Kit for Cells & Blood provides a rapid and reliable process for extracting high molecular weight (HMW), intact genomic DNA from cultured cells and whole blood. Utilizing an optimized process that combines gentle cell lysis with a tunable fragment length generation followed by precipitation of the extracted DNA onto the surface of large glass beads, the prep proceeds rapidly and utilizes standard laboratory equipment. DNA size ranges from 50-250 kb for the standard protocol and into the Mb range when the lowest agitation speeds are used. Purified DNA is recovered in high yield with excellent purity, including nearly complete removal of RNA. For cells, the process time is only 30 min, while blood samples require erythrocyte lysis and are processed in 60 min. Purified HMW DNA is suitable for a variety of downstream applications including long-read sequencing

BioChain's tissue genomic DNAs are isolated from a wide variety of tissues using a proprietary modified guanidine thiocyanate technique. The quality and purity of genomic DNA are tested by spectrophotometer and electrophoresis. A260/280 is between 1.8 and 2.0, and A260/230 is >2.0 (detected in 10 mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.5). Contamination of RNA, polysaccharides and proteoglycans has been effectively eliminated.

STEMCELL Technologies Gel and PCR Clean-up Kit, Size: 250 Preparations
The Gel and PCR Clean-up Kit uses a membrane-based system to quickly purify DNA fragments of 100 bp to 10 kb in length from polymerase chain reaction (PCR), restriction enzyme digestion, or excised agarose gel fragments (up to 350 mg). The purified DNA is directly suitable for applications such as automated fluorescent DNA sequencing, cloning, labeling, restriction enzyme digestion, or in vitro transcription. Up to 40 µg of DNA can be processed per column in as little as 20 minutes and eluted in volumes as low as 15 µL, with up to 95% recovery depending on DNA fragment length. The Gel and PCR Clean-up Kit can be used to purify linear DNA fragments, supercoiled plasmid DNA, or single-stranded DNA (circular or linear).
