EZ Cap Cy5 EGFP mRNA (5-moUTP) expresses enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) which emits green fluorescence observable at 509 nm It is suitable for assays such as mRNA delivery translation efficiency cell viability and in vivo imaging This product is provided at 1 mg/ml It is co-transcriptionally capped with a Cap 1 structure incorporated 5-moUTP (5-Methoxy-UTP) and a poly(A) tail Cy5 is a synthetic red fluorescent dye with maximum excitation and emission wavelengths at approximately 650 nm and 670 nm respectively During transcription Cy5-UTP and 5-moUTP are incorporated at a ratio of 1 3 allowing for easy visualization of mRNA while maintaining translation capability in cell culture Generally translation efficiency inversely correlates with Cy5-UTP substitution level This product is designed to mimic fully processed and mature mRNA It is an ideal product for investigating mRNA delivery localization translation and other behaviors
