Cy3 maleimide is a selective and efficient fluorophore dye with low aqueous solubility. This labeling reagent can be used to attach Cy3 fluorophore to proteins and peptides which contain cysteine residues, as well as to other thiolate molecules (such as thiol-containing oligonucleotides). Before the labeling reactions, Cystines should be reduced with TCEP (tris-carboxyethylphosphine). For biomolecule labeling, the labeling reagent has low aqueous solubility, using of organic co-solvent to dissolve this molecular is necessary for efficient reaction. First, Cyanine dye should be dissolved in organic solvent and then added to a solution of biomolecule in appropriate aqueous buffer. Other sizes are available. Please inqury us for quote.

Terminal labeling is an ideal procedure for the labeling of oligonucleotides with haptens such as biotin or fluorescein. An oligonucleotide can be synthesized using standard, commercially available reagents and labeled after synthesis in a simple and reproducible enzyme reaction.The BIO-PROBE 3'-Oligonucleotide Labeling Kit with Fluorescein-12-ddUTP contains all reagents required for terminal labeling of oligonucletides with fluorescein except the oligonucleotides to be labeled. The BIO-PROBE 3'-Oligonucleotide Labeling Kit provides maximum flexibility for labeling oligonucleotides approximately 15 to 100 nucleotides in length. A standard reaction will label up to 100 picomoles (1 µg of a 30-mer oligonucleotide sequence). A complete kit contains two component packs that are available separately: a Reagent Pack and a Fluorescein-12-ddUTP Dideoxynucleotide Pack. Both packs contain sufficient reagents for 25 labeling reactions. Applications: Southern Blot, Northern Blot, ISH , Dot Blot.

CellBrite™ NIR Cytoplasmic Membrane Dyes are novel near-infrared carbocyanine dyes for labeling the cytoplasmic membranes of living cells. Due to their long emission wavelengths, near-infrared cell membrane stains can be used to label cells for near-infrared small animal imaging studies for non-invasive imaging of cell migration and cell homing. The dyes have long 18-carbon hydrophobic tails and an additional water-soluble group. These unique chemical structure elements make the dyes easy to dissolve while providing highly stable cytoplasmic membrane staining, unlike traditional carbocyanine dyes like DiI, DiO, and DiR, which are often difficult to dissolve or prone to precipitation during cell staining.
