This kit assesses ligand (e.g. α-melanocyte stimulating hormone) based activation of MC4R GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type MC4R, a naturally Gs coupled GPCR.
