STEMdiff™ Myogenic Progenitor Supplement Kit comprises serum-free supplements for the differentiation of human embryonic stem (ES) cells and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells to myogenic progenitor cells. These cells, which are characterized by myogenic cell markers such as CD56 and CD82, can be culture-expanded for 5+ passages using MyoCult™-SF Expansion Supplement Kit (Human; Catalog #05980) and further differentiated to functional multinucleated MyHC+ myotubes at high efficiency using MyoCult™ Differentiation Kit (Human; Catalog #05965). These myotubes can be used in various downstream applications and analyses. This kit is compatible with human ES and iPS cells maintained in mTeSR™ 1 (Catalog #85850), mTeSR™ Plus (Catalog #100-0276), or TeSR™-E8™ (Catalog #05990).

Vitronectin is a monomeric glycoprotein used to promote cell attachment, migration, proliferation and differentiation in a broad number of cell lines and types. This product has been purified from human plasma where it is found as a mixture of 75kDa and 65kDa polypeptides.Vitronectins primary use in cell culture is related to cell adhesion. It also binds to heparin and collagen.Vitronectin is ideal for coating of surfaces. The optimal concentration for cell attachment and culture may differ for various cell types. Vitronectin has been used at a final coating concentration as low as 50 ng/cm2 on plasticware. It is provided in user-friendly packaging for use and storage. Vitronectin is sterile filtered and is supplied as a ready to use solution after thawing and concentration adjustment. This product is shipped separately on dry ice.

MWY Selective Supplement is a lyophilized antibiotic supplement for the selective isolation of Legionella species from clinical and water samples. Each vial, sufficient for 500 ml of medium, supplies polymyxin B sulphate, glycine, anisomycin and vancomycin together with bromothymol blue and bromocresol purple as differential indicators that suppress competing bacteria and fungi while letting Legionella develop. Rehydrate with 50% aqueous ethanol and add to molten Buffered Charcoal Yeast Extract Agar Base with the matching growth supplement. Store at 2 to 8 C. Packaged as 5 vials.

Advanced Biomatrix HyStem-C Version 2.0 Thiol-Modified Hyaluronan and Gelatin Hydrogel Kit, 12.5 mL
HyStem-C contains thiolated hyaluronic acid & gelatin for easy 3D cell culture. HyStem-C version 2.0 is reconstituted with a buffered 1X PBS. The resulting components will also result in a pH neutral isotonic salt hydrogel. The ending pH, osmo, and rheological properties are the same from Version 1.0 to Version 2.0. HyStem-C hydrogels provide an excellent starting point for optimizing the matrix for cell culture. HyStem-C is fully chemically-defined and based on three biocompatible components: thiol-modified hyaluronan (Glycosil), thiol-reactive crosslinker, PEGDA (Extralink), and thiol-modified denatured collagen (Gelin-S). Gelin-S provides basic cell-attachment sites for a wide variety of primary cells and cell lines and is therefore recommended as an ideal substrate for adherent cell types and for cell culture optimization. In some cases, HyStem-C hydrogels can be further enhanced by the addition of ECM proteins to match native signals.
