Inhibits nitric oxide (SIN-1) induced PARP activation in rat hepatocytes (at 20µM). Neuroprotectant. Purity: ≥98% (HPLC). Solubility: Soluble in DMSO (25mg/ml), dimethyl formamide (25mg/ml) or 100% ethanol (25mg/ml warm). Also soluble in 0.1N NaOH or in methanol; insoluble in water and 0.1N HCl.
