Enterobacteria Enrichment (EE) Broth Mossel is a selective, enrichment medium used for the cultivation of Enterobacteriaceae and bile-tolerant Gram-negative bacteria. EE Broth provides a rich environment for the recovery of damaged or injured cells that can be injured in food processing procedures, including exposure to low temperature, sub-marginal heat, drying, radiation, preservatives, or sanitizers. The enumeration of bile-tolerant Gram-negative bacteria/Enterobacteriaceae is an important measure of the sanitary condition of food and nonsterile products. • Product meets APHA, Harmonized USP/EP/JP, and ISO reference methods and performance criteria.• EE Broth Mossel should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.
