Tryptic Soy Broth with Penicillin G (TSB-P) is a general nutrient and enrichment broth, supplemented to be selective. It is used in qualitative procedures for the cultivation of a wide variety of microorganisms. TSB is also recommended for sterility testing. Reference the appropriate standard method for additional details on test instructions. The broth is supplemented with 0.2µg/mL Penicillin G to inhibit gram-positive bacteria.• Product meets AOAC, BAM, CLSI, EPA, ISO, NF, SM-Dairy, SMWW, USDA, and Harmonized USP/EP/JP reference methods and performance criteria.• TSB-P should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • For in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use.• Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.
