12000mL 3-Neck RBF, Half Jacket, 1-CN 45/50 Outer, 2-SN 29/42 Outer, 12mm Drain Valve. Lower half of flask has a jacket permitting heating or cooling of the contents with fluid from a constant temperature bath.The design of the Chem-Drain valve incorporates a PTFE plunger that allows the contents of the flask to drain directly through the bore of the plunger. When closed, the tip of the PTFE plug seals into the lower radius of the flask, avoiding the dead space normally associated with standard stopcock drains. This feature permits total mixing and drainage of the flask's contents. The Chem-Drain is 12mm. This dimension refers to the straight section of the plunger. When open, the contents of the flask drain through three openings into the plunger's main bore. Lower portion of the plunger has a 1/2in section for attachment of flexible tubing so material can be transferred into a receiving vessel.
