CAMPY CVA Agar is an enriched, selective and differential medium used for the isolation, cultivation, and presumptive identification of Campylobacter species, including Campylobacter jejuni. Cefoperazone suppresses the growth of gram-negative enteric bacilli and some gram-positive bacteria. Vancomycin inhibits many gram-positive bacteria. Amphotericin B is an antifungal. The antimicrobial agents act to suppress the normal flora present in fecal specimens• Product meets CLSI and NF reference methods and performance criteria.• CAMPY CVA Agar should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • For in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use.• Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.
