CAMPY CVA Agar is an enriched, selective and differential medium used for the isolation, cultivation, and presumptive identification of Campylobacter species, including Campylobacter jejuni. Cefoperazone suppresses the growth of gram-negative enteric bacilli and some gram-positive bacteria. Vancomycin inhibits many gram-positive bacteria. Amphotericin B is an antifungal.
