Corn Meal Agar is a non-selective and non-differential culture medium used for the cultivation of fungi, particularly the production of chlamydospores by Candida albicans. Corn meal infusion provides the nutrients required for fungal growth and agar is the solidifying agent. Tween 80 enhances chlamydospore formation. • Product meets ASM, CDC and CLSI reference methods and performance criteria.• Corn Meal Agar with Tween 80 should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • For in vitro diagnostic (IVD) use.• Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.
