Lee's Multidifferential Agar (LMDA) is a selective and differential medium utilized for the enumeration of bacteria commonly found in beer and breweries. The medium is recommended for detection of spoilage organisms including Lactobacillus species, Pediococcus species, acetic acid bacteria, and lactic acid bacteria. This product conforms to the American Society of Brewing Chemists (ASBC) standard methods and formulations. This medium is also known as Schwarz Differential Agar. (This product does not include yeast inhibitors, but we are able to make it upon request.)• Product meets ASBC reference methods and performance criteria.• LMDA should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.
