Tryptic Soy Agar with Lecithin and Tween80 (TSA w/LT) is a non-selective and non-differential medium utilized for the detection and enumeration of microorganisms present on surfaces and in areas of sanitary importance. Prepared plates are utilized for environmental monitoring within biologically controlled environments. These plates are suitable for active and passive air sampling (settle/settling plates) as well as for personnel monitoring of fingertips (Finger Dabs). Lecithin is utilized to neutralize quaternary ammonium compounds. Polysorbate (Tween) 80 is used to neutralize substituted phenolic disinfectants. • Product meets USP-NF reference methods and performance criteria.• Deep fill (32mL).• TSA w/ LT should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.• Also known as Microbial Content Test Agar
