The round, anodized aluminum rack can be used with beakers, water baths, and ice baths. Keep microcentrifuge tubes closed while boiling. Place the tubes in the rack, and then screw on the handle to hold down the cover. The handle is 5 1/8" long, and assist's in the removal from hot beakers. Rack measures 3 1/2" diameter and holds up to 16 tubes.
