Culture Tube, Disposable, Polystyrene, Sterile, 17x100mm, Supplied with Cap, 25/Bag. These disposable sterile tubes are biologically inert & exempt from mold release agents. Precision molding with virgin thermoplastics ensures that tubes will be uniform in size & shape. High resistance to breakage reduces danger in handling potentially harmful cultures.Transparent polystyrene tubes withstands moderate centrifugation speeds (1400g) & temperatures to 70ºC. Translucent polypropylene tubes can be centrifuged at higher speeds (3000g) & resist temperatures from -190ºC to120ºC.Tubes are supplied with either a 2-position ribbed polyethylene cap (which can be left loose for aerobic work or sealed for anaerobic cultures) or without caps for general purpose work. The 12 x 75mm tube has a 4ml capacity with cap on (4.5ml without cap). 12 x 75mm tubes w/ marking area are graduated from 1 to 4ml in 0.1ml increments. Tubes packaged in economical self-standing re-sealable zip lock bags.
