PG-11047, also known as CGC-11047, is a polyamine analogue. It is utilized in the research of breast cancer. Studies have shown that it can inhibit the growth of breast cell lines, with basal-like cell lines being more sensitive. It also induces a significant decrease in the S phase fraction of cells at concentrations that produce minimal apoptosis. At higher concentrations, PG-11047 has been observed to induce apoptosis.
