High-pressure vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data of its binary mixtures with CO2 have been reported. It can be used as a solvent in the spectrophotometric determination of iron(III) by using the ligand N N-bis(2-hydroxy-5-bromo-benzyl)1 2 diaminopropane (HBDAP).
