StatLab MasterTech Pentachrome Stain Kit, Russell Movat - Stains all connective tissue elements, mucins, and nuclei in just over one hour

  • This stain has three primary stains: Verhoeff's Elastic Stain, Alcian Blue, and Crocein Scarlet which produce purple to black elastic fibers and nuclei blue to green mucins, red muscle, and red fibrinoid against a yellow background with collagen yellow collagen counterstained by Alcoholic Saffron Solution
  • Pint Stain Kit yields between 144 to 225 slides and actual slide yields mya vary
  • Pint Kit Consists of - 10% Alcoholic Hematoxylin pint, Universal Iodine Solution pint, 5% Sodium Thiosulfate pint, 1% Alcian Blue pint, 1% Acetic Acid liter, Alcoholic Saffron Solution pint, 10% Ferric Chloride pint, 2% Ferric Chloride pint, 3% Acetic Acid pint, Crocein Scarlet-Acid Fuchsin pint, and 5% Phosphotungstic Acid liter
  • All kit components should be stored in a dry environment between 15°C and 30°C
