3-D Life HyLink, thiol-modified hyaluronic acid, hydrogel crosslinker component (3 x 200 ul). INTRO: 3-D Life technology, manufactured in Germany by Cellendes GmbH, is an integrated system for generation of hydrogels used in 3D cell culture. 3-D Life represents the most flexible system for biomimetic hydrogel design. DESCRIPTION: 3-D Life HyLink molecule consists of hyaluronic acid (hyaluronan) carrying thiol groups along its backbone. When combined with 3-D Life SG-Polymers, thiol groups on HyLink form stable thioether bonds with the thiol-reactive groups on the polymers, which results in the formation of the hydrogel. HyLink can be used with 3-D Life functionalized polymers SG-PVA and SG-Dextran. APPLICATION: 3-D Life HyLink is used together with thiol-reactive SG-Polymers of the 3-D Life Hydrogel system to establish 3-D cell cultures. QUANTITY: Sufficient for 5 ml hydrogel of a crosslinking strength of 1.2 mmol/l when used with SG-Polymers of the 3-D Life Hydrogel system.
