Diethyl-pythiDC is a research-use small-molecule inhibitor of collagen prolyl 4-hydroxylases (CP4Hs). It inhibits CP4H activity in cultured cells at concentrations that do not induce iron-deficiency markers and shows low cytotoxicity in tested cell lines, making it useful for in vitro studies of collagen biosynthesis and related pathways.
- Inhibits collagen prolyl 4-hydroxylase activity in cultured cells.
- Does not induce iron-deficiency markers under tested conditions.
- Low cytotoxicity in tested cell lines, including MDA-MB-231.
- High purity: 99.9% (HPLC).
- Available as solid (for example, 100 MG) and as a 10 mM, 1 ML solution in DMSO.
