Description

Compact portable meter measures cell density in suspension at 600 nm and supports standard curves using absorbance or McFarland standards.

  • Small, portable, and designed for use, the instrument can measure growth rates of E. coli, other bacteria, and yeast
  • Create and save cell specific standard curves to read against again and again
  • Can also be used with McFarland standards
  • Intuitive touch screen for easy plug and play use
  • Battery operated and portable for use where cells are actually cultured
  • Uses LED light source in combination with an advanced fiber optics

  • Accepts 10 x 10 mm cuvettes or 16 mm test tubes. 10 to 12 mm test tubes require adapter set
  • Spillages can be easily wiped from the smooth surface, and the cell compartment area can be flushed with formaldehyde or ethylene oxide to sterilize it
