Description

Allows for easily visible demonstrations to show behavior and properties of transverse waves.

  • Motion of wave is demonstrated by chain of 73 steel pendulum bars
  • Each bar soldered at their mid-point along rod spring that can be subjected to torsion
  • Ends of bars are painted on one side in fluorescent paint and on other side with white paint
  • Damping mechanism is supplied and retaining clamp on stem for demonstrating reflections at fixed end
  • Machine is mounted on foldable steel base
