3-D Life is the most flexible system for biomimetic hydrogel design for 3D cell cultures. It uses two polymers that form a hydrogel by covalent crosslinking at ambient temperature. The chemical reaction is non-toxic to cells and occurs rapidly, preventing cell settlement before gel is formed. RGD sequences are motifs on extracellular matrix proteins promoting adhesion to cellular integrin receptors. The 3-D Life RGD Peptide contains a RGD motif and a thiol group on the N-terminus. Application: Modification of 3-D Life Hydrogels with cell-adhesive properties. 3D cell culture of cells requiring a cell-adhesive matrix based on the RGD motif.
