4-CMTB or 4-chloro-α-(1-methylethyl)-N-2-thiazolylbenzeneacetamide, is a free fatty acid receptor FFA2 agonist and positive allosteric modulator. Binds at a site distinct from the orthosteric site; modulates the activity of short-chain fatty acids at FFA2 via the FFA2 second extracellular loop (ECL2). Provided as 10 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter,  PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
