UberStrainer is a sterile sample preparation device to separate, isolate, concentrate and process particle out of complex and/or diluted suspensions. The airtight screw cap with a Luer Lock adaptor makes it possible to filtrate an unlimited amount of liquid. The connector ring combines the strainer via a simple click mechanism with a standard 50 ml tube, which works under positive or negative pressure. The adaptor can be inserted in the connector ring, this allows the user to work with standard 15ml, 2ml or 1.5ml tubes and can avoid an additional spinning step to concentrate the targets. The strainer can be easily separated from the rest of the device, fits into a 50 ml tube and into the 20 mm tissue plate cavity. PET mesh material, PP housing material.
