It is intended for research applications related to diabetes, obesity, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular diseases, liver diseases, and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), as well as other conditions associated with the GLP-1 receptor. In vitro, it inhibits OATP1B1 with an IC50 < 1 μM in HEK293 cells. In vivo, a single oral dose at 5 mg/kg in rats demonstrates good pharmacokinetic parameters, with a Cmax of 1700 ng/mL, AUC of 10193 ng·h/mL, and an oral bioavailability (F) of 90%.
