5-OxoETE is a keto acid analog of 5-hydroxyicosatetraenoic acid (5-HETE) that stimulates cytosolic calcium mobilization in neutrophils, actin polymerization, CD11b expression, and L-selectin shedding. It is a chemoattractant for eosinophils, neutrophils, basophils and monocytes, and an agonist of oxoeicosanoid (OXE) receptors (EC50=0.33 nM). Provided as 25 μg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
