57mm I.D. x 33.5cm L Acrylic Safety Shield without cap, for use with Michel-Miller chromatography columns. Safety shield insures safe operation at pressures to 300 psi. Shield wall thickness: 3mm. The top thread of the column is hung in a polyethylene cap; the cap is then held by the plastic shield. The shield should be secured with a clamp.
