This reagent is a 6% recombinant HSA (Human Serum Albumin) in PBS SOLUTIONon pH 7.4 that can be used as a blank or matrix/diluent for proteinaceous analytes in LC-MS/MS calibrators controls or samples.The 6% protein content design is meant to mimic endogenous protein concentration in human serum samples.Beneficially as the HSA source is recombinant the matrix should not contain any measurable contaminants typically found in even stripped serum.
