Buffered Peptone Water (BPW) – Poultry Rinse Fluid is a non-selective pre-enrichment medium specifically formulated for the recovery and resuscitation of sublethal injured Salmonella spp. from poultry carcass rinse samples and other food matrices. It is used primarily in microbiological testing procedures prior to selective enrichment and isolation of target organisms.
