AACOCF3 is a trifluoromethylketone derivative of arachidonic acid. It is a selective inhibitor of human cytosolic PLA2 and Ca2+-independent PLA2 (iPLA2, IC50=15 µM). It is active in intact platelets and U937 cells (IC50=8 µM). It also inhibits fatty acid amide hydrolase (100% at 7.5 µM). Purity: ≥98% (TLC). Solubility: Soluble in DMSO (>25mg/ml) or 100% ethanol (>25mg/ml). Long Term Storage: -80°C.
