AAV-DJ/8 is a hybrid AAV serotype developed to produce viruses that mimic the transduction properties of AAV-8. Cell Biolabs' AAV-DJ/8 Helper Free Packaging System uses a Helper plasmid to eliminate the need for a helper virus in the packaging process. The system contains two packaging vectors (pHelper and a Rep-Cap vector) and a GFP control vector that can be used to make a GFP reporter virus.
