AAV-DJ is a hybrid AAV serotype developed from the recombination of 8 different native AAV serotypes. AAV-DJ viruses can infect a broad range of target cell types with high transduction efficieny. Cell Biolabs' AAV-DJ Helper Free Packaging System uses a Helper plasmid to eliminate the need for a helper virus in the packaging process. The system contains two packaging vectors (pHelper and a Rep-Cap vector) and a GFP control vector that can be used to make a GFP reporter virus.
